CAN I EXTEND THE RENTAL TIME PERIOD?
Absolutely. Please call us to let us know and we can give you a price quote for your additional days.
ARE RESERVATIONS REQUIRED?
Reservations aren't required, but are recommended. We love walk-ins, we just can't always guarantee that a kayak, paddleboard, or lake float will be available. We always recommend giving us a call first so we can help you!
WHAT ARE THE SPECS ON A CROW WING KAYAK?
Crow Wing Kayaks are approximately 9'3" in length and 2'8" wide. From the bottom of the rudder to the top of the rear drag handle is 1'6". They weigh approximately 50 pounds. What makes them incredible is that their draft is only 4 inches. Because they are less than 10 feet in length, they don't need to be registered in Minnesota. See a photo of the dimensions.
DO YOU HAVE TANDEM KAYAKS OR CANOES?
We have a limited supply available. Please call ahead if you would like to rent them.
CAN KIDS AND DOGS RIDE IN THE KAYAK?
Yes, the kayaks are rated to safely carry up to 50 pounds.
DO THE KAYAKS COME WITH PADDLES AND SEATS?
All but our basic Yak come with a 19" high-back seat. Paddles are available for purchase. We carry a great brand of paddle at a little cheaper price than you can find online.
WHAT SHOULD WE PACK FOR OURÂ RIVER TRIP?
We recommend you pack:
Water or beverage of choice
Sunscreen, sunglasses, and bug spray
Snacks or picnic lunch
Waterproof or double sealed bag for phones, binoculars, or cameras
Towels and extra clothes could be handy
